Black Walnut is an abstract mixed media collage built from layered paper and photographic fragments, featuring raw earth tones, a sweep of warm ivory, and deep charcoal planes. The grain of analog film lends an intimate, tactile quality to the work, grounding its abstraction in something quietly material. Overlapping collaged elements in burnished amber, soft chalk white, and near-black evoke the weight and warmth of natural wood — its depth, its contrast, its stillness. A considered presence for interiors that balance organic texture with a refined, contemporary edge.

Materials: Original 35mm film photography, colored pencil, acrylic, tempera, watercolor, graphite, and construction paper on paper.
