Homestead is an original mixed media painting on paper composed from torn and layered fragments of paint and construction paper — geological strata of deep charcoal, rich umber, vivid cerulean, and earthy sienna arranged into a landscape that feels both ancient and immediate. The work evokes the quiet drama of open farmland and expansive sky — soil, field, and horizon distilled into form.
