Monument is an abstract mixed media collage built from layered paper and photographic fragments—a cyan tile form and surrounding rock texture captured in original 35mm film photography, stacked against bold planes of blush pink, deep olive, and warm sand. The grain of analog film grounds the work in something tactile and geological, while vivid accents of electric blue, amber, and violet push against the anchoring weight of deep black masses that sweep across the lower composition. Architectural in feeling yet deeply organic, Monument carries a monumental stillness that commands attention in any contemporary interior.
